Updates

Hey All!
Dear hubby received an offer from PDI in San Fran. It was a good offer overall, but more importantly, he received a priceless piece of advice from a friend who works there. Get an arbiter! He said that with the big studios, animators need lawyers who will go to bat from them and get them the best offer, especially since the studio has lawyers drawing up an iron-clad contract for the next 4 years or so of our lives! Thankfully, Scout's friend highly recommended his lawyer, so we will be using him.
We should hear back something from Laika in Oregon today, according to Scout's sources in the company.
The 3rd offer on the house, we countered with what we wanted--and they came back to meet our "demands" on the whole. We were pretty happy about the deal and the timing. So the house is under contract. Only one thing (I think) could mess this up--they offered high, to roll in their closing costs. My realtor isn't sure we'll be able to get the house appraised for this generous amount. SOOOOOO......
A prayer request!!!! Aside from the right job thing, please be praying for a very generous appraiser who sees both the value in our home, and the value of it to the buyers, who really, really, really want our home. Pray that God will intervene and this house will appraise!!!!
Zoomer and I are really tired of keeping the house "perfect" and showing it. It would be awesome to be able to truly move on to the packing and preparing to move phase.
Also, pray for God to help me have wisdom to know how to balance it all--Zoomer and school, house upkeep, packing, planning, moving....ya know.
God is faithful, and his promise to me in all this has been His strength and power--see Isaiah 40:29.
Hope to see many of you in the next month or two as we roadtrip our way across America!
Love ya.
Morning Glory
