This one here is on a river near Mendicino. We went camping there with Zoom's gram. It was 115 degrees inland on the way, but here near the ocean it was in the 80s. Nice.
Went to Happy Hollow Zoo and Park in San Jose on Sunday. If you look closely you can see Zoom's "buzz cut".
The campground we stayed in when near Mendicino was in the Redwoods--amazing trees!!!! The one Zoom had climbed was right next to our campsite--it was a "stump". Huge!!!
Our gracious hostess for the month of July had just bought a swing chair. I think Zoom looks like a caterpillar (or butterfly) just coming out of the cocoon!
These pics are pretty random, but give a glimpse into our lives the past few months as we settle into California life.
