Legoland!!!!

Our birthday trip to Legoland with Zoomer was really wonderful. Daddio got off work for Friday and Monday and we headed down south of L.A. to visit the Lego mecca. Zoom was SOOOO excited. He was really, really, well behaved and fun and just an enjoyable kid to be with on the trip. It took all day Friday to get there. Zoom made faces and took pictures of himself! Early Saturday morning we headed over to Legoland.
Legoland is really neat! There are so many huge and small and intricate Lego models all over the park--even in the entrance and the bathrooms! Zoom LOVED to roller coaster rides, and the 4d movie, and even got to go to "driving school" and drive around a miniature town complete with stoplights and lots of other kid drivers. Then he got a Legoland driver's license with his photo! Miniland was really neat--20 million legos to make intricate replicas of New Orleans, New York, D.C. and many other parts of the country.
Sunday we went back for some more fun, and then drove up to our friends' north of L.A. for dinner and cake for Zoom. They were his Texas grandma and family and he was SO thrilled to see them! (They've since moved to the L.A. area from Texas.) Monday morning we started the long drive home.
