Went for a walk in the redwoods with Zoom and his friend. They found newts and "adopted" them for their walk. We returned the newts to their home on the way back to the car. Did you know newts only come out after the rain? Their skin secretes an enzyme that is an irritant, although it didn't seem to bother the boys at all. I did read that some drunk guys ate live newts and died though. I guess you'd have to be drunk to eat a live newt though....

A bonding moment with Zoom and Squeak. Zoom enjoyed feeding her and she just adores his attention.
